UX designer
Virtually represents networks and monitors device operations to improve efficiency and productivity.
Background
Network Digital Twin was a new product I began working on in 2022. This product allows customers to monitor their network operations through a virtual clone of their network. It provides real-time data and highlights when network service-level agreements are not being met. Nokia Network Digital Twin increases production efficiency and productivity. My role in this project included wireframing, UI design, prototyping, and QA testing.
Project goals
Virtualize networks and help users better understand what is happening across them
Highlight performance and coverage issues in the network
Provide insight into a network's performance and how end devices experience it
Design solution
To help users better understand their virtualized networks, I designed an intuitive and interactive dashboard. This dashboard provided a clear visual representation of the customer’s campuses and networks, allowing users to easily navigate through different campuses and network segments and view real-time data.
I also created a set of visual indicators and alerts that highlighted performance and coverage issues within the network. These indicators were designed to be easily noticeable, enabling users to promptly identify and address problems.
Finally, I designed a comprehensive performance analytics tool that offered deep insights into network performance and the experience of end devices. By visualizing key performance metrics and trends, users could easily monitor how their network was performing over time.
Final designs
Currently under NDA.
